Refreshments in Wray Institute

are available throughout the week

Street entertainment will be performed

by the children at Wray Primary School

11.00am and 2.00pm each day

Monday 28th April to Friday 2 May.

 

Guided tours of the village and scarecrows are held throughout the week.

Information updates/any changes will be published on Notice Board at the Institute and on Wray Village Website

The event is organised and supported by volunteers,who put hours into making the Festival and Fair a success to give you a great day out - this is a non-profit making event, where all proceeds go directly to local charitable organisations- we hope you come and enjoy the Wray Festival and Fair and thank you,

Funfair starts in Home Farm Field.

     

Friday 2nd May 2008

Parade of Giant Scarecrows, 8pm start from the Gars End. video from last year's parad2

The parade leaves The Gars at 8.00 p.m., accompanied by the Mayor of Lancaster, the Deadbeats Samba Band plus all schoolchildren joining in with their musical instrumentand fancy Dress.The parade walks the length of Main Street ending at Bridge End Farm Tea Rooms.

A presentation of prizes for the Best Scarecrows will take place, refreshments will be available and a Bonfire.


4th May 2pm Scarecrow Balls race and Harley Davidson rally

Judging of scarecrows Tuesday 29th April at 11 am

A Special section for local schools has been organised for them to display their scarecrows in the Flood Gardens
