Despite the rain the fair went ahead, we are British and nothing can stop us once we make our minds up to do something. Congratulations to the scarecrow committee for all their hard work making sure the day was successful, great fun was had by everybody.
Thanks also to Wray Institute for providing the facilities to enable all the local charities to profit from the fair by selling refreshments.

During the festival week at Wray, starting 25th April and ending on Bank Holiday Monday, there will an opportunity to see and buy work by the Lunesdale Trail artists in the Church in the village. Free entry.

There will be occasions during the Road Race, Giant Scarecrow Parade and Wray Fair Day when Traffic Control will be in place.
A Special section for local schools has been organised for them to display their scarecrows in the Flood Gardens
Guided tours of the village and scarecrows are held throughout the week.
